Director/ DoP/ Film Producer
Born in Romania in 1974, he pursued his passion for filmmaking at the “I.L. Caragiale” Film University in Bucharest, where he studied between 1996 and 2000.
Since 2001, he has been working as a Director of Photography for National Romanian Television, continuously refining his craft and exploring diverse visual styles. His work spans various genres, allowing him to experiment with new techniques and enhance his cinematographic approach.
In 2004, he joined Evolution Film Production as a cinematographer and producer, actively contributing to various film projects and expanding his expertise in visual storytelling. A decade later, in 2014, he became part of Evolution Art & Film, where he continues his work as a cinematographer, director and producer, further deepening his engagement with artistic and documentary filmmaking. Fully immersed in the collaborative nature of film production, he thrives on the dynamic exchange between directors and crews, ensuring each project reaches its full artistic potential.
With an increasing interest in new media and technological innovation, he embraced Extended Reality (XR) and Virtual Reality (VR) filmmaking, integrating 360° cinematography, VR documentaries, and interactive visual experiencesinto his work. As an XR/VR producer and cameraman, he explores the evolving landscape of immersive storytelling, pushing the boundaries of how audiences engage with film and digital media.
To further his expertise, he participated in renowned international workshops and programs, including Documentary Campus, Documentary in Europe, Dragon Forum, and the East European Forum ,IDFA . These experiences enriched his understanding of storytelling, production, and the future of both traditional and immersive cinema.
